Google Docs - Collaborative tools for creating and sharing forms, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation files....many benefits for using it in ELA
Holt Interactive Graphic Organizers - Graphic organizers that can be typed into for reading and writing modeling
Make Beliefs Comix - Comic strip creator with characters, props, and talk and thought bubbles to create dialogue
Quizlet - Interactive flashcard collection to search or create your own with games that correlate

Fakebook - Using a Facebook-style environment, students create a "Fakebook" of historical figures, book characters, etc., with their associated "friends" and historically accurate commentary.....with a creative, modern twist.
Storybird - A collection of gorgeous artwork for students to use to create stories
Tikatok - Tool to create e-books and their illustrations
Student Publishing - Publish "Illustories" or Comic Books
FlipSnack - Makes flipbooks using .pdf or jpeg files. Convert Powerpoints to .pdf files and transform them into flipbooks
Photostory - A software tool from Microsoft that allows for images or scanned artwork to be transitioned together with voice and music to create a simple video story
Animoto - Web-based tool for making movies with pictures or video
Wordle - Word cloud creator to be used for character traits, brainstorming writing topics, and much more
